Record Yield

Website terms of use

Last updated 31 October 2026.

1. Who we are

This website, recordyield.co.uk, is run by GOODDEALSUK LTD, trading as Record Yield, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16790983).

  • Registered office: 57 Durham Road, Wilpshire, Blackburn, BB1 9NH.
  • ICO registration: ZC127685.
  • Contact: hello@recordyield.co.uk.

2. These terms

  • These terms apply when you use this website. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
  • We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version on the site when you use it applies.
  • Our privacy notice explains how we use personal data.

3. Information, not advice

  • The site gives general information about licensing business records to AI developers. It isn't legal, tax, financial or data protection advice, and it isn't tailored to your circumstances.
  • We are not a law firm. Before you act, take advice from your own lawyer, accountant or data protection officer.
  • Guides show the date they were written or last reviewed. Law and market practice change, so check that anything you rely on is still current.

4. Estimates and figures are not offers

  • Estimates and ranges from our estimator, report or guides are indicative only. They aren't valuations, offers or promises of any price or outcome.
  • Market figures, buyer programmes and rewards are taken from the sources named, as at the dates shown. They may have changed since then, and we don't control them.
  • Every offer depends on the buyer's own review of your data and terms. A buyer may decline or change its offer.

5. Our services are under a separate agreement

  • Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services or a contract to do so.
  • We act for a company only under a signed written agreement. If anything on this site differs from that agreement, the agreement prevails.

6. AI mode

  • AI mode gives automatic answers produced by an AI model. Answers may be incomplete or wrong, and they aren't advice or an offer.
  • Please don't enter personal data or confidential information about your company, staff or customers (see the privacy notice).

7. What you send us

  • When you use a form, please give accurate information about yourself and your company, and only information you're entitled to share.
  • Please don't send us records, samples or details about your customers or staff through the site. We'll ask for what we need under a signed agreement.

8. Using the site properly

You must not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law;
  • try to get unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or interfere with how it works;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code; or
  • use automated tools to copy or extract substantial parts of the site, except for search engine indexing.

9. Our content

  • The site's text, design and graphics belong to us or our licensors.
  • You may view, download and print pages for your own business use, and quote short extracts with a credit and a link to the page.
  • Daily reads are our own summaries of public news, with links to the original sources. The original material belongs to its publishers.
  • Some pages contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0, as credited on those pages.
  • Other organisations' names and marks belong to them. Mentioning them doesn't mean they endorse us or work with us.

10. Links to other sites

We link to other websites for information. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they use your data.

11. Availability and corrections

  • We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We may change or remove content at any time.
  • If you spot an error, email hello@recordyield.co.uk and we'll check it and correct anything wrong.

12. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
  • If you use the site for business:
    • we aren't liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, contracts, savings, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on it;
    • our total liability to you arising from your use of the site is limited to £100.
    This section doesn't affect liability under a signed agreement with us, which is governed by that agreement.
  • If you're a consumer: the site is provided for private use. We aren't liable for business losses, or for loss that wasn't reasonably foreseeable. Your statutory rights aren't affected.

13. Law and courts

  • These terms, and any dispute about the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
  • The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
