The estate's archive may be an asset. It expires.

When a company with 25+ staff fails, its email, Teams and document history can be licensed to AI developers, with proceeds for creditors. Once licences lapse and servers are wiped, that value is gone.

01 / The process

You stay in control at every step.

From the day you're appointed to the closing report. We coordinate the work; you sign off each stage.

01You're appointed

Preserve on day one

Ask IT to export and keep Microsoft 365, Google and Slack for 60–90 days before licences lapse.

02We map

What the estate holds

Systems, years of history and volumes, plus what must stay out: customer data, privilege, HR and health records.

03We prepare

Assessed and de-identified for you

You and your solicitor run the data-protection assessment with our template. A vetted vendor de-identifies inside the estate's own environment.

No raw data leaves the estate. Nothing moves without your sign-off.

04Buyers compete

Several bids, one signature

Two to four vetted buyers bid. Warranties limited to your knowledge and liability capped.

05Creditors benefit

Proceeds and paperwork, in one file

Realisations, our commission and deletion certificates, ready for your SIP 9 disclosure and closing report.

Fee: commission on what's realised

£100,000–£500,00015%
Above £500,00010%

Paid from the estate as an agent's fee and disclosed to creditors (SIP 9). Any referral fee a buyer offers is credited to the estate. Nothing here is a payment for an introduction to an appointment.

What we won't do

  • Touch raw data or give buyers live logins
  • Include customer personal data, privileged material, or health, legal, care or children's records
  • Ask you for personal warranties or an uncapped indemnity
  • Promise a price. Many estates won't sell, and we'll say so early.
