Estimator, enquiries and offer reviews
We collect your name, work email, company, role and your answers, to send your estimate or review and one follow-up. Lawful basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries. Kept for 24 months from your last contact, then deleted automatically.
Free report and updates
If you request the report we keep your email, and your name and company if given, to send it (legitimate interests). We send occasional market updates only if you tick that box (consent), and you can withdraw that consent at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or using the link in any email. Kept for 24 months, or until you unsubscribe.
AI mode
Your messages are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate a reply (legitimate interests: answering your questions). We don't store the conversation. To limit misuse we keep a count of messages per IP address, which is deleted after about a day. Please don't share personal or confidential details in it.
Business contacts and outreach
We find companies and insolvency practitioners from public sources: Companies House, The Gazette and firms' own websites. We hold the company name, its published generic or role-based business email address, and where relevant the names of officers or appointed practitioners as shown on public registers. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in offering a relevant business service. We don't email sole traders or partnerships without consent. Every email says who we are and offers an opt-out; if you opt out or object we add you to a suppression list, kept only to make sure you're never contacted again.
Data we help license
We don't hold it. The company, or its liquidator or administrator, is the controller for its records; see our trust page. Anyone can ask to be left out using our objection page.
Who we share data with
Service providers acting for us: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI mode, and sorting replies to our emails) and Telegram (internal alerts about new enquiries). Some are based in the United States. Where data leaves the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge where the provider is certified) or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses. We never sell your personal data.
On your device
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores two small markers in your browser so the report pop-up and the help bubble don't keep reappearing; they contain no identifiers and aren't sent to us.
Automated decisions
The estimator gives an automatic indicative range, but no decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automated means alone.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or move your data, object to our use of it (including any outreach), and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email [email protected]; we reply within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
